The Atlanta Chapter

The Surfrider Foundation Atlanta Chapter was started in 2009 by a group of landlocked surfers who wanted to do their part to protect the world’s oceans and beaches.

Our mission is to raise awareness and take direct action for the protection and preservation of all waterways in our region as an integral component of the water systems that feed the ocean. We will unite with all those who care about our rivers, lakes, oceans, waves and beaches, to create a positive impact by hosting clean-ups and creating public awareness in both local areas and wherever our surfing passion takes us.

Effective March 2013, the Atlanta Chapter and the Coastal Georgia/Low Country have merged (More Info). The Atlanta Chapter covers the State of Georgia. We need your support. JOIN NOW.
