Thanks to all the Surfrider volunteers and several other volunteer groups, the Paces Mill Park is well under way to being re-opened! It was unbelievable to see the aftermath of the last two floods. Debris was still hanging 15' - 20' in the trees, mud was caked in deep around all of the picnic tables and fences were destroyed. With the help of close to 100 people we dug and hauled mud for two and a half hours to clean up the picnic area.
