EarthShare of Georgia is sponsoring a "Take only pictures, leave only footprints" photo contest to celebrate the great natural beauty throughout Georgia. The photo contest aims to encourage both novice and experienced photographers to explore and capture the diversity of Georgia's landscapes. The photo contest will showcase our state's natural beauty, with the goal of inspiring and continuing conservation efforts by all of Georgia's citizens.
The entry deadline for the competition is Monday, April 1, 2013.
The prizes for the photo contest are as follows:
1st Prize: Custom framing for winning photograph provided by BlackRabbet Framing Studio. BlackRabbet crafts all frames by hand in Atlanta- assuring the highest quality possible. Estimated value: $500. Photograph to be published in Creative Loafing on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
2nd prize: Gift Certificate valued at $175 redeemable for either one course at The Showcase School of Photography or currency at The Showcase Photo and Video store.
