Join fellow Chapter activists for our first meeting of 2015 covering several important topics.
We will be holding elections for the next two year term of the Executive Committee. The Nomination Period is open up until the day of the meeting, and you can submit any nominees to chair@georgia.surfrider.org.
We will also be discussing recent developments on critical issues for the Georgia coast, and action plans for the Chapter, respecting the Bureau of Ocean and Energy Management's new, proposed 5 year drilling plan to open the Atlantic seaboard to drilling, the pending Tybee plastic bag ordinance, and new efforts to ban smoking on St. Simon's Island and Tybee Island beaches.
