Georgia Water Coalition Lobby Day

Join chapter members at the "Georgia Water Coalition Lobby Day at the Capitol" on February 19, 2014 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, with an informal lunch to follow.

Participants will meet at the Central Presbyterian Church across the street from the Capitol. The morning will start with a light breakfast, and feature an educational program on 2 or 3 key water issues chosen by the Georgia Water Coalition, of which Surfrider Foundation - Atlanta/Georgia Chapter is a member. The program will also include messaging and strategies on how to directly engage your state representatives on important water issues.

After a morning of lobbying your representatives, participants will then informally gather for lunch in the Sloppy Floyd building for a friendly lunch.

The sign up page will be posted shortly on http://www.garivers.org/gawater/index.html
