International Surfing Day was founded so that surfers and surf enthusiasts from all over the globe have an opportunity to come together in celebration of the great sport of surfing.
This year the the Surfrider Foundation Georgia Chapter will be on the East Beach of St. Simons Island from 11 - 6pm, at the St. Simons Surf Sailors Windfest. There will be SUP and windsurfer demonstration, a cookout and a beach clean up.
