On April 3, 2013, Steve Combs, Chair of Surfrider Foundation Atlanta Chapter, appeared with David Lee Simmons of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper on the CBS Atlanta Better Mornings show. The topic was the April 13 Sweep The Hooch event. The Atlanta Chapter is the team lead for the Powers Island to Pace Mills segment. Steve also highlighted Surfrider's programs for Rise Above Plastics and Ocean Friendly Gardens. Steve was able to show off his new surfing accident scar. That's definitely going to leave a mark.
